    Year 2020: March started a beginning to something I could not have ever imagined. How did we get here? Unknowing or knowing? Did we cause our own current deprivations?

    Psalm 37:23 states “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord”. Is it possible we missed some steps?

    Let us think about intervals of things that transpired before the official state our country is in now. In 2019, I had the worst upper respiratory attack ever. Several people of my knowing had really bad flu like illnesses during October, November, and December of 2019. Is it possible this virus was slowly finding its way into our bodies ..our lives. I am not part of the medical profession, but I can attest to something was definitely circulating. The weird part about it was that it was different then most respiratory issues meaning it lasted way longer than usual with extra attached symptoms. Here are some examples {this includes me and others}: severe nasal and chest congestion, postnasal drip, rash, laryngitis, stomach discomfort, and optical issues. It was very bizarre for me and others. Did any of you experience this in 2019? I am curious.

    As a child, one of my pets was a pig name Bessie’Lee. She was cute, smart, my best friend.

    It was an extreme cold winter that I will never forget
    Mr. Forecaster warned of nasty weather that wasn’t of yet

    Not really worried nor any fear
    Our farm help didn’t prep properly or on time that year

    Bessie’s quarters were not warm nor safe for her sleep

    The next morning I went out for a peep
    Bessie had frozen, never again from her zzz’s of deep

    Depression, crying, sadness grip my heart
    I never imagined losing my Bessie in such a devastating depart

    Running back to the farmhouse frantic and distraught
    I started to remember just how much love she brought

    Pets are a blessing, their love is conditioned not
    The ability to bring us into their world is their hearts plot

    Scary, cute, funny, end

    awakened in the middle of the night drenched in perspiration, shaking, and in fear.

    to my surprise, it was only a dream .. after a night tea, i resume my sleep.

    a different dream started .. this time i am unable to awake or move.

    a thick black shadow hovers me in stillness, my breathing heightened.

    the inertia in my body breaks, i swing with an object and hear “thump”.

    i did not want to face this sound … uh
